Music for the 2011 marching band season is being selected right now! Links to public recordings of the show music will be added to the marching band page as pieces are chosen. Check back regularly to hear the music for the 2011 season! All show music will be handed out by the end of the 2010-2011 school year.
Don’t forget that band parents/families will be acknowledged before the football game vs. Edison. Please complete and return the family night forms that were sent home in the mail last week! Hope to see you all on Friday!
The high school band made a surprise appearance at the Huron Lions club pancake breafast on the morning of November 7th. The band entertained the crowd with selections from the 2009 marching band season. All proceeds from the event went to benefit the family of Mike Danillo who has been diagnosed with ALS. Mike’s son Sam is a freshman member of the band’s percussion section.
Band practices that were originally scheduled for 9am-12pm on 8/13, 8/18, 8/19, and 8/20 have been pushed back by one hour. These practices will now run from 10am-1pm. Any band members who have a scheduling conflict with the time change should contact Mr. Ladd by email or telephone ASAP.
