For just the second time ever, the Huron Concert Band was awarded a Superior rating at the State level of O.M.E.A.’s large group contest! The Huron band performed on Friday evening, April 30th, at Findlay High School. The band performed in class “C” with roughly 60 performers.

Congratulations to the high school concert band on earning STRAIGHT SUPERIOR RATINGS from the adjudicators at District 2′s large group contest. With their top rating, the Huron band has earned the right to perform at the State Finals event to be held on April 30th AT Findlay High School.

Congratulations to the members of the 7th and 8th grade concert bands. Both bands performed and received a “Superior” rating overall at the OMEA large group adjudicated event on May 10th in Upper Sandusky, OH. The McCormick bands will be performing their contest selections at a concert in the auditorium at McCormick on Thursday, May 21st.
