OMEA Large Group District Contest

The Huron High School concert band will be participating in the OMEA District II Large group adjudicated event on Friday, March 13th, at Briar Middle School in Perkins. The Huron band is performing at 9:00pm in the gymnasium at Briar. Families and friends are encouraged to come and support the band but are reminded that recording devices and/or photographs are strictly prohibited by OMEA rules. The band will be performing three prepared selections for a panel of judges and will then perform a fourth piece that they have never seen before for a separate, sight-reading judge. The band will receive comments and a rating based on their performances. Stand by for results!
