2011 5-8 Fundraiser Item Pick Up

The products from our 2011 century resources sale will be delivered to McCormick Junior High tomorrow, February 23rd. Parents and students should plan on picking up their items between 2:30 and 6:00pm in the McCormick band room. Please email Mr. Ladd if you cannot make it during the scheduled times. Thanks!

6th and 7th Grade Band Concert Cancelled

Since Huron schools were closed today, the 6th and 7th Grade band concert that was originally scheduled for this evening has been cancelled. Plans to reschedule the concert will be considered once normal classes resume.

Concert Time Changed

The 7th, 8th, and High School Band concert that was originally scheduled for next Thursday at 7:00pm has been move up to 6:30pm. The concert will proceed as planned after starting a half hour early.

2009 Junior High Large Group Results

Congratulations to the members of the 7th and 8th grade concert bands. 2009 Junior High Solo and Ensemble Results

Students form the McCormick J.H. 7th and 8th Grade bands participated in the OMEA Solo and Ensemble contest at Genoa High School on Saturday, April 4th. The students from McCormick performed in a total of 29 events and were awarded 22 “superior” and 7 “excellent” ratings.

High School Band Concert moved to 7:30pm

The High School and 8th Grade band concert that is scheduled for Monday, December 15th has been moved back to 7:30pm. The original time of 7:00pm conflicted with a swim meet. The Huron 6th and 7th Grade bands will be performing a concert filled with holiday favorites tomorrow at McCormick Middle School. The concert is set to start 7:00pm and will be held in the auditorium.
