The final parent/student meeting for the 2010 Disney trip was held last night in the High School band room. Anyone who was unable to attend can download the packet of information by visiting http://hurontigerband.com/highschool/disney. Please call or email Mr. Ladd with any last minute questions.

 

There will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, March 23rd at 6:30pm in the high school band room. The meeting is for all students who are traveling with the band to Florida. Each student should be accompanied to the meeting by a parent or guardian. We will cover trip policies (rules), the basics of what to bring (and what not to bring) on the trip, as well as offer a final opportunity for parents to pose last minute questions.

Trip participants who are unable to attend this meeting due to a serious scheduling conflict should contact me immediately via email so that I may get the information to you ASAP.

 

The marching band will begin preparing for their performance at Disney by practicing after school over the next three weeks.

  • Thursday, April 1, 2:35-4:35pm

There will be no rehearsal on Tuesday, March 23 in order to make time for the parents meeting that will be held in the evening.

Congratulations to the high school concert band on earning STRAIGHT SUPERIOR RATINGS from the adjudicators at District 2′s large group contest. With their top rating, the Huron band has earned the right to perform at the State Finals event to be held on April 30th AT Findlay High School.
