An informational meeting regarding the High School marching band’s 2010 trip to Orlando, Florida will be held next Thursday, June 4th in the High School band room. The meeting will start at 7:30pm and is mandatory for all current 8th-11th grade students who are interested in participating in the trip. We encourage even those who are only slightly interested to attend and get more information.

Congratulations to the members of the 7th and 8th grade concert bands. Both bands performed and received a “Superior” rating overall at the OMEA large group adjudicated event on May 10th in Upper Sandusky, OH. The McCormick bands will be performing their contest selections at a concert in the auditorium at McCormick on Thursday, May 21st.
The Huron High School band will be holding it’s annual awards banquet for the 2008-2009 school year on Monday, May 11th. The dinner will start at 6:30pm and will be held in the ballroom at the Sawmill Resort on Cleveland road. Dinner is free for all members of the 2008-2009 band, so come and celebrate.
